With the Oakley Sutro Lite Prizm Trail Torch, you acquire a pair of cycling glasses that you can use perfectly in medium-light conditions. Such conditions include cloudy skies and wooded areas, for example. These cycling glasses come under Oakley's Sutro family. Thanks to the half-frame and large lens, you are assured of an optimal field of vision.
The frame of the Oakley Sutro Lite Prizm Trail Torch cycling glasses is made of O-Matter. This material is durable and lightweight, making the glasses sit comfortably on your head for many years. Oakley's High Definition Optics (HDO) has also been applied. This technology refers to the curvature of the lens, which matches the natural curve of your eye, ensuring that you always have a clear and distortion-free view. The Unobtainium nose pad enhances the Sutro's wearing comfort and grip. Even when you are sweating, it is highly unlikely that these sports glasses will slide down your nose.
Prizm Trail Torch lens
This Oakley Sutro Lite model has the Prizm Trail Torch lens with a light transmission of 35%. This makes it suitable for medium-light, cloudy and shady conditions. As such, it is excellent for use in wooded areas. The Prizm lens technology eliminates all the colours you don't want to see. Thus, dull colours get 'warmer', which enhances contrast and lets you distinguish all sorts of details in wooded and shaded areas better, which may help to avoid them if necessary. Also, the colour enhancement brought about by the Prizm Trail Torch lens is very relaxing for the eyes.
